Garth Brooks Gives Trisha Yearwood a Ride for Her Birthday

Minds out of the gutter, folks. Garth Brooks took his wife, Trisha Yearwood, for a ride at Arlington’s Six Flags Over Texas to celebrate her fifty-first birthday early last week.

The touring pair took a break from their sell-out world tour while in Dallas to enjoy some leisurely time at the amusement park, including riding the Texas Giant roller coaster. The park, which is typically only open on weekends, accommodated the Walk of Fame stars for a special surprise from Garth to Trisha.

Based on the picture, it looks like the couple had an absolute blast between Dallas shows. And, is it just me, or does their friend look a lot like Tom Hanks?

Eric Church turns Grammys performance into something bigger

You may have watched Eric Church’s performance of his 2014 hit ‘Give Me Back My Hometown’ on Sunday night at the Grammys and thought that was all there was to it. A performance of a Grammy-nominated song from a Grammy-nominated album (he lost both, to Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert respectively, but who’s counting).
