Over the last twenty-five years, Garth Brooks has released hit after hit after hit. Perhaps the one hit that has had the most staying power from Garth’s catalog is the karaoke bar favorite “Friends in Low Places.”
“Friends in Low Places” was released in August of 1990 and now, with the twenty-five year anniversary just passing, Garth has a treat for longtime fans — the re-release of the timeless tune with the help of other superstar country music artists. According to Billboard, included on the list of artists joining the “rodeo” man is George Strait, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, and Florida Georgia Line.
Though Billboard did not receive confirmation yet, there is a slight buzz that the re-release may incorporate the third verse that ignites a live crowd. Only time will tell!
