Carrie Underwood‘s return after a short maternity break (or “smoke break”) has been one for the books; no, really, it has made history left and right. And, once again, Carrie is setting a trend in country music, becoming the first ever in the genre to perform at London’s Apple Music Festival.
Carrie will perform on September 21st, day three of the event that spans from September 19th to the 28th. All of the performances will be broadcast to fans around the world via Apple Music and Apple TV. On participating in the event and becoming the first country artist included on the bill, Carrie exclaimed:
Playing in the UK is always such a thrill! I’m really looking forward to heading back and being a part of such an amazing lineup at this year’s Apple Music Festival. What a unique concert experience, not only for the fans at the Roundhouse, but also for fans across the globe who can stream it live!
Other performers at the 2015 Apple sponsored musical event include: Pharrell Williams, One Direction, Florence + The Machine, The Weeknd, The Chemical Brothers, Take That and Disclosure. For updates, tickets and additional information, visit the Apple Music Festival official website.
