Last night was the Season 9 premiere of NBC’s The Voice, and the show started the round in an epic way. The judges, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams, and Adam Levine, took turns covering each others’ hit songs; which included a pop reggae rendition of Blake’s Number 1 hit “Neon Light” and a country version of No Doubt‘s “Don’t Speak.”
While the entire two-hour premiere was entertaining and brought viewers ridiculous talent and endless comedy (starring the bromantic buddies Blake and Adam), the opening three-minute performance was the highlight of Season 9’s kickoff. Watch the video below and let us know what you think of the judges’ performances! Who makes you want to turn your chair around?

Why do they make him sing a song out of his range. It was painful. Radio this morning was not kind to him. 🙁
