Although Thomas Rhett’s new album Tangled Up isn’t due out until September 25, the singer is dishing on some of his new music. One track in particular is a standout. Entitled “Die a Happy Man,” the track is an ode to his wife, and the love song is poised to be his follow up single to “Crash and Burn.”
Rhett opened up about the track to Taste of Country, admitting it’s for his wife, Lauren, and that he hopes it’ll become a future wedding song. “There’s a song on the record called ‘Die a Happy Man’ that I hope one day becomes a lot of people’s wedding songs. It’s a super, super, super love song,” he says. “I wrote it about my wife.”
