Michael Ray Celebrates Monumental Career Moments

Our NashvilleGab crystal ball has never been clearer as news emerged that Warner Music Nashville’s Michael Ray is the Number 1 artist on Country Aircheck/Mediabase this week. Michael’s single, “Kiss You in the Morning,” written by Justin Wilson and Michael White, is the most played song of the week on country music radio, scoring Michael his first trip to the top of the charts.

The wonderful news comes at the same time as the release of Michael’s self-titled debut full-length album, which Michael recently described to The Boot.

I wanted to make [an album] where the songs were different than the next and that was broader for listeners. I wanted to make a record where, if you wanted to go and party, whatever track it is, you can party to it. If you’re going through something, you can hit that track, and it will help you go through it, or give you something, or whatever it might be. I grew up loving those type of records.

Congratulations to Michael Ray on a monumental week in his career! Here’s to many more successes in his bright future!
