Black River’s Golden Girl, Kelsea Ballerini, Strikes Gold

Kelsea Ballerini is flying high, having scored a Number 1 hit song, Top 5 debut album, and a currently rising sophomore single. Now, Kelsea has another milestone to celebrate, as her chart-topping hit, “Love Me Like You Mean It,” has struck RIAA Gold.

To obtain Gold certification from the RIAA, a record must accrue over 500,000 units in sales and streams, which Kelsea has been able to accomplish for “the first time” with her record-breaking hit. Last week, Kelsea, along with co-writers Josh Kerr, Forest Glen Whitehead, and Lance Carpenter received their plaques from ASCAP for the Number 1 chart position of “Love Me Like You Mean It,” and now the celebration continues with the next in a long line of successes Kelsea is bound to experience in her career.

Congratulations to one of the brightest stars in the country music sky on her first Gold record!
