Kelly Clarkson Covers Prince’s Iconic “Purple Rain”

While her Piece by Piece Tour continues its trek across the country, River Rose’s mama continues to amaze us with her incredible voice and interpretation of other people’s songs. While she’s taken on a ton of current hits and guilty pleasures (see NSYNC’s “Bye, Bye, Bye”) her cover from a recent tourstop in St. Paul, Minnesota takes the cake.

There, KC took on the Prince classic “Purple Rain” and it’s basically got us all…


At the conclusion of the song, she admits, “I was literally about to pee on myself that whole time.” Us too, but in a good way.
