In his single “Real Life,” Jake Owen celebrates all of the best things about his country life. One thing that’s evident in the video is that the dude knows how to party, and on Saturday, he gave one lucky college student a heck of a surprise.
OSU student Eric Bennett tweeted Jake inviting him to his 21st birthday celebration, and sure enough, Jake showed up with some friends. The country superstar hung out for a half hour, talked college football and even serenaded the group with a song.
“He gave an awesome intro … about how I tweeted at him that I was celebrating my birthday and how he showed up at my house and he said, ‘So I’m playing this song tonight for Eric,’” Bennett tells Taste of Country. “That made it even that much more special.”
