In true whirlwind fashion, Carrie Underwood sprung a lot of information on fans over the last few days. First, she released a new single, “Smoke Break,” on the same date as her announcement that new music was coming. Next, she shared that her fifth studio album, Storyteller, was scheduled for an October 23rd release. Then, she stated that her “Smoke Break” music video would premiere on Monday, August 24th. Last, she teased a tour on Sirius XM The Highway.
Wow.
In order to get fans ready and excited for her music video, which will debut on Entertainment Tonight (“ET”) tomorrow, Carrie tweeted out a clip of “Smoke Break,” giving viewers the chance to preview what is yet to come. While we had seen photographs of Carrie that we can now attribute to this specific video shoot, it now appears that the new production will contain many more settings and scenes that fit squarely with the shifting storytelling of the new single.
