After liking a post on tumblr that her fan-base made, Taylor Swift was notified and informed about one of her fans, Miss Naomi, who recently was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, only being 11 years old.
Because of this, Naomi wouldn’t be able to see Taylor Swift’s show in Arizona anymore, leaving her truly upset. The family also had bills building up from the medical expenses, and set up a GoFundMe page that was also linked on the tumblr post that Taylor had noticed.
Being her generous and genuine self, Taylor Swift donated a total of $50,000 to the family’s GoFundMe page to help support Naomi through this difficult time, as well as leaving the message,
“To the beautiful and brave Naomi, I’m sorry you have to miss it, but there will always be more concerts. Let’s focus on getting you feeling better. I’m sending the biggest hugs to you and your family.”
Within two hours of the internet exploding over this selfless act of kindness from Taylor, Naomi and her family posted an adorable reaction video!
