Keith Urban and Dan + Shay Form Boy Band

Keith Urban has one of the most spectacular catalogs in country music, and the Australian-born sensation undoubtedly has the enormous vocals and stellar guitar skills to support the songs in his repertoire. The question is — can other artists pass muster when put in the position to collaborate with Keith on one of his biggest hits?

Well, when it comes to dynamic duo Dan + Shay, the answer is “yes.”

Dan + Shay opened for Keith Urban at the June 26th Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, so the two acts combined efforts to bring the festival attendees something especially unique — a partnership on Keith’s “Tonight I Wanna Cry.” Keith was joined by Dan + Shay in his tour bus earlier in the day to rehearse the duet, later bringing the Sony recording artists to the stage to join him before a large crowd of country music enthusiasts.

Adding their incomparable harmonies to the poignant vocals of Keith Urban, Dan + Shay certainly held their own, supplying Keith with the musical layers for which they are best known. Needless to say, the crowd excitedly embraced the trio of talented men and shared their happiness through ongoing cheers and applause.
