While you may know Elijah Wood as the actor who played Frodo Baggins in the Lord of the Rings movies, turns out there’s another Elijah Wood running around in the world and he just happens to be the super-cute 19-year-old drummer for none other than Shania Twain.
Shania introduced the teen as well as others in her band in a video on Facebook a few days ago. When I first saw the young drummer in the video, I actually wondered if he was maybe Shania’s 13-year-old son Eja. Nope, it wasn’t.
Then when I read his name and discovered that he’s actually for real a part of Shania’s band and not just some kid having fun on his dad’s drums, I had to go find out more. From his website I learned that Elijah got his first pro gig at the ripe old age of 14, his dad is one of the founding members of Trans-Siberian Orchestra (cool), and he was part of the house band for America’s Got Talent during season 9.
And did I mention that he’s a cutie?
Yeah, yeah, I know, I know. I’m old, he’s just a teen, and I’m kind of being creepy. Blah, blah, blah.
