Despite having success with “Crying on a Suitcase” and releasing the driving single “Fall Apart,” Casey James has parted ways with his label Sony Nashville. The news was confirmed by Nashville Edge and happened in June, just as his most recent single seemed to disappear from the charts.
The former American Idol contestant is currently on tour so fans won’t have to wait too long to hear from the heartthrob, but his recording future remains uncertain. Prior to his amicable split with Sony, James was in the studio working on his sophomore album.
Whatever the case, there’s no doubt that James is thankful for his devoted fans, who will undoubtedly support his career wherever it goes.
I appreciate the dedication and sometimes even hard work that my fans are giving. It's inspiring. Thank you. #passion
