Talk about Carrie Underwood pride, when an opportunity to arise to have a “newer” toy gun as a part of a collection of 13,989 guns in a local museum and it happened to be a promo toy gun from Carrie, the museum jumped on it.
K95.5FM, a country radio station in Tulsa, was one of the many stations across the U.S. to receive a toy gun as part of a promotion for Oklahoma native Carrie Underwood’s new song, “Little Toy Guns,” a song about domestic violence.
Wayne McCombs, Executive Director of the J.M. Davis Arms and Historical Museum, heard about the radio station receiving the toy gun and knew he wanted it.
McCombs said, “Carrie Underwood is a very popular singer from Oklahoma and I thought, ‘Why not add this to the collection?’”
