If you weren’t excited for Zoolander 2 before, you may be now because a country favorite has officially joined the cast.

Willie Nelson tells Access Hollywood that he was recently asked by his buddy Owen Wilson if he wanted to have a part in the upcoming Zoolander 2, and Willie accepted. He then headed to Italy to film the unknown part.

“Well, Owen and I are good buddies and we stay pretty close in touch. Woody [Harrelson] and all these folks – we hang out a lot in Maui,” Nelson revealed. “[Owen] is the one who asked me if I wanted to do it. I said, ‘Let’s do it,'” he said.

I imagine Willie will probably just have a cameo as himself in the film, but I can’t help but hope he actually plays the world’s oldest male supermodel because THAT would be amazing!

Zoolander 2 hits theaters February 12, 2016. And good news to those of you who haven’t seen the original, you can stream it on Netflix now.

So what’s a seemingly struggling former monster hit reality singing competition to do?

Hire one of your most popular competitors ever if possible.
