Two Story Road Kicks Off CMA Fest Week for Eager Fans

This morning, June 9th, marked the kickoff of CMA Music Festival (“CMA Fest”) week for fans of country music duo Two Story Road. As they have in years past, Brandon and Jamelle Fraley invited fans to an exclusive gathering where they performed, told stories, and encouraged personal interactions. Also included on the schedule of events was a few rounds of their social media-based trivia game “Two Stories,” which gave fans the opportunities to guess which of two scenarios about the married couple was true. Guessers – right and wrong – received gift card prizes from the Fraleys.

However, what made this fan party experience incredibly special was that Two Story Road promised to sneak peek its entire forthcoming six-track EP — and the beloved duo delivered. Also ensuring that the 2015 event was memorable for fans in attendance, Brandon and Jamie invited their renowned producer Mark Bright (Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts, Jo Dee Messina) to join the festivities, as he played an enormously vital role in the creation of the project. Mark sat before the crowd, told stories about Two Story Road, and discussed the songs one-by-one, sharing intimate details that fans are not often able to obtain about their favorite artists’ pieces of work.

As attendees at the annual event, Nashville Gab received the after-party exclusive information of the official track listing; a list that even party-goers were previously unaware of, as the songs were played out of order. The titles of the songs and the songwriters are as follows:

1. Arson – Two Story Road, Fred Wilhelm, Barry Weeks

2. I Got It – Jeffrey Steele, Caitlyn Smith

3. Russian History – Gordie Sampson, Tom Douglas, Steve McEwen

4. Typical – Dan Couch, Caitlyn Smith

5. Permanent Ink – Sarah Buxton, Danny Myrick, Mike Gossin

6. Light of the Moon – Two Story Road, Jason Matthews, Cassidy Lynn Alexander

The event took place at Nashville’s beautiful Ocean Way Studio, a location with an eerie history and stellar acoustics. Emceed by Nick Weir (Little Owl Productions), friends, family, and fans filled the room in support of country music’s next big duo. Immediately following the party, fans lined up to chat and take photos with Brandon and Jamie, and not a single person left without autographed merchandise or a picture to cherish.

As always, Two Story Road stepped into the crowded room as a humble and unassuming pair and left the same way. Only at the end of this particular day, they could close their eyes and remember that each person in attendance rose to his or her feet as the final notes of the last song, “Arson,” were played. This standing ovation shall mark the first of many associated with the duo’s debut offering.

On a personal note, it brought tears to my eyes to watch my good friends premiere their first EP to a room of fans, sitting before them and seeing first impressions written on their faces. Two Story Road has worked tirelessly for years, beginning from their days at Belmont University, stretching to their background vocalist and musician roles, and then trying their hands at a career in the spotlight. Their time has come and it was an honor, privilege, and overwhelming delight to be a part of their monumental day.
