Taylor Swift Brings Out Little Big Town on The 1989 World Tour!

Taylor and Little Big Town

Taylor Swift gave us a taste of her country roots as she brought out Little Big Town as a special guest for her 1989 World Tour show in Pittsburgh tonight to duet the band’s 2012 hit, Pontoon! Just days before, the two stars had hinted at a collaboration by displaying some Twitter love for each other. Glad to see it finally happened!

What a way to celebrate for Taylor’s first show of The 1989 World Tour in Pennsylvania, her home state, where she grew up with country music. The sold-out crowd of 65 thousand people tonight at Heinz Field Stadium roared with excitement when Taylor had introduced them by saying, “Now Pittsburgh, I’ve been in the music industry for about ten years, and one of the first bands I ever met was one of the nicest bands and one of the most talented, and they’ve always been the coolest people.. and they’ve been putting out the best music consistently for the last ten years. So, I know you guys have a river around Pittsburgh and I wonder if you’ve ever gone out on a pontoon boat…. Welcome Little Big Town!”
