Is Shania Twain writing Caitlyn Jenner’s theme song?

Shania Twain goes blond

You couldn’t go anywhere this week without hearing about Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce Jenner) and her amazing transformation reveal on the cover of Vanity Fair. Now it turns out that the reality star may just be getting a little help from none other than Shania Twain.

Shania stopped by Entertainment Tonight this week for an interview and before it aired tonight, ET correspondent Cameron Mathison tweeted about sitting down with the singer.

Wait, did he just reveal that Shania wrote the theme song for Caitlyn Jenner’s new reality show?  Score for Shania if she did. The Vanity Fair cover reveal was massively huge news this week, can’t imagine what it’s going to be like when Jenner’s reality show I Am Cait premieres in July.

Unfortunately, Shania doesn’t mention the theme song in the portion of the interview from YouTube that you can watch below, so either they cut that bit out or her interview that aired on television was longer (I’m thinking it was probably much longer).  Guess we’ll find out the truth soon enough.

Shania’s Rock Your City Tour officially kicks off in Seattle on Friday, June 5.

‘American Idol’ hopes to lure Carrie Underwood to be a judge or whatever on the show

‘American Idol’ seems to be in some sort of free fall right now. Yesterday, the former reality show juggernaut failed to receive an Emmy nomination for Best Competition Reality Show, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler have both quit or been fired depending on what report you read, and the ratings have been lacking lately from my understanding.

So what’s a seemingly struggling former monster hit reality singing competition to do?

Hire one of your most popular competitors ever if possible.
