Cassadee Pope has been performing new music for her fans over the last several months, leading them to believe that a forthcoming album is not too far in the future. Tonight, at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut during a headlining show, Cassadee introduced the newest song she has been working on, “Invincible.”
“I Am Invincible” is a beautiful blend of Cassadee’s rocker roots and Nashville-based cowboy boots, showing off her enormously powerful vocals, which include a range that exceeds most artists across any genre. A song of inspiration, Cassadee celebrates being invincible, unbreakable, unstoppable, and heroic, sharing with listeners the importance of staying strong and rising from the ash when they are burned.
A song with tremendous crossover potential, “I Am Invincible” would fare well on pop stations, as well as country, due to the heavy-hitting guitars and fast-paced lyrical delivery that only somebody with phenomenal vocal control could muster. Between Cassadee’s recent performances of “Let Me Go,” “Feelin’ Good,” and “I Am Invincible,” it is becoming clearer than ever that this particular artist knows exactly who she is; and that is a melting pot of skills, emotions, and thoughts, which make her one of the most likeable and relatable talents in the industry.

Jen, Both you and Cassadee are fortunate to be such good friends! As Blake Shelton says Cassadee is just AMAZING. This song “Invincible” could very well be a crossover to the Pop Music. Of course Its my understanding Blake continues to give good care to Cassadee so because of that country is probably better fitted. I think she just about took his breath away at Stagecoach this year.People speaks of seeing him side stage watching as she performs at the festivals. Surely we will have duets together in the future. I heard him introduce her as the next SUPERSTAR. Maybe he will start tweeting about her to his millions of fans, exspecially with this new music coming. She is a Hottie!!!
Kelly Clarkson has a great song called “INVINCIBLE”. Very good lyrics, Doesn’t sound anymore Pop than this one of Cassadee’s.
