Carrie Underwood back to work filming new Sunday Night Football opener

She’s backkkkk!

For the third year in a row, Carrie Underwood will be the official (singing) voice of Sunday Night Football. And as they’ve done in years past, the NFL tweeted photos of the singer recording the new opener for Sunday Night Football.

This will be Carrie’s third year performing the iconic “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” theme song. Sunday Night Football will premiere on NBC Thursday, September 10, when the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the New England Patriots.
