Brantley Gilbert Gives Back to Purple Heart Veteran

Last week we reported that Brantley Gilbert received quite a special gift from a United States Army Veteran — his first Purple Heart. Yesterday, on Fox and Friends, the Big Machine Label Group country rock artist reciprocated by offering Staff Sergeant Justin Patterson a special gift from him.

While on the show, Gilbert presented Patterson with his personal pair of tickets to the CMT Awards (taking place in Nashville this Wednesday, June 10th), recognizing that the gift Patterson gave him is something for which he could never aptly thank him. Patterson will now be representing the Collaborative Video of the Year (“Small Town Throwdown” featuring Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett) nominee at the show. We are certainly hoping Gilbert wins so Patterson can have the honor of accepting on his behalf!
