How do you get NKOTB to dedicate a song to you at a sold-out Nashville concert? You change your name to Carrie Underwood and simply make a request. At the May 27th Bridgestone Arena NKOTB, TLC, and Nelly show, the five guys that played large roles in many 1980s girls’ lives performed a song after “Good Girl” Carrie Underwood worked her magic with the man band.
Pointing to a seat in the upper bowl, the guys dedicated their song “Single” to Mrs. Fisherwood. Instead of laying low and just enjoying her jam, Carrie grooved to her track of choice . . . on the Jumbotron.
Wouldn’t you do the same if Joey McIntyre crooned in your direction? I sure would . . . once I woke up from my fainting spell, that is.
