Dierks Bentley recently revealed that Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard won $500 from him in what must have been one epic bowling match. Turns out, however, that while Tyler may be good at bowling, he’s not so good at bathroom betting.
Tyler and FGL partner, Brian Kelley joined Lon Helton on Country Countdown USA this weekend and revealed the funny story about how Tyler went from winning $500 from Dierks to losing $700 in the men’s bathroom at a comedy show.
When Helton brought up the Dierks Bentley bowling story, Brian Kelley asked him if he wanted to hear the funny part. He then gave the floor to the big loser of that evening, Tyler.
“I got hustled in the bathroom,” he started out. “I got distracted by these dudes in the bathroom. This guy has a flat board with three caps and a piece of paper under one of them. Everybody’s betting on where the piece of paper was. I had these hundreds in my pocket from bowling that afternoon, and that guy took me for $700! It’s so embarrassing. After that, no more gambling. Don’t gamble in the bathroom.”
