Brett Eldredge NOT heading to court for this song…

It’s no secret Brett Eldredge‘s new song has a different sound to it, but some people were saying it was a wee bit too familiar to a famous pop song. And they are right….to an extent. Brett “borrowed” a line from the Gnarls Barkley pop hit, “Crazy,” for the first part of the second verse of his latest single, “Lose My Mind,”  BUT Brett isn’t about to get himself in a pickle like Robin Thicke and Pharrell…. Brett and his co-writers gave co-writing credit to Gnarls Barkley’s CeeLo Green and Danger Mouse, as well as to a pair of film composers who inspired Gnarls Barkley’s recording. Smart thinking!

“Lose My Mind” is the lead single from Brett’s upcoming, as-yet untitled sophomore album so be on the look out for that!
