Tim McGraw Says This Decade Shaped his Career….

If you’ve heard Tim McGraw’s latest single “Diamond Rings and Old Bar Stools,” it might take you back to the days of a Don Williams or Merle Haggard. And that is exactly what Tim wanted you to feel because back when those guys were in middle of their careers was back when bell bottoms and tie dyes were cool. You know…the 70’s.

He says, “I grew up in the ’70’s, and I’m a child of the ’70’s. That kinda music is really what made me fall in love with music.”

And Tim goes on to credit The Eagles with some serious influence into the mix.

“The Eagles were probably one of the biggest influences in the music that I make,” Tim says. “It’s like George Strait , Merle Haggard and the Eagles all meshed together.”
