There has got to be some kind of secret to how Taylor Swift is able to captivate audiences all over the world and who better to tell people than two guys that were able to open for her, Florida Georgia Line. Now it wasn’t JUST Taylor that helped shape the guys so when Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard served as mentors on American Idol this past week, the guys shared some of the tips they picked up from ALL the artists who believed in them and took them on the road early on in their career.
Tyler tells Billboard, “Taylor Swift, Jake Owen and Luke Bryan allowed us into their world and we stood beside the stage every night and took notes. We learned a lot from all those artists. It’s important for an artist to soak in everything you can.”
Considering how successful FGL is despite critics and haters…I’d say listen to them and study like a student.
