The Best New Artist category is loaded with potentials from Sam Hunt to Cole Swindell to Thomas Rhett. But just who does the reigning ACM New Artist Award winner want to see take the big award home?

His “very, very good friend” Thomas Rhett. He stated the reasons that 1) he’s his really, really good friend and 2) he’s just a good person and he has a lot of respect for him.

Okay. That works. I mean those things all make good criteria for a best new artist. And Thomas has seen some pretty steady chart success so sure why not. But what we really wanna know is….who do YOU think should win?
