EXCLUSIVE: Justin Moore On Looking For A Hero

JustinMooreNG

First, can we just lay down the foundation that Justin Moore is hands down one of the sweetest guys on the planet? K? Good. We had the opportunity to talk with Justin while he was getting ready for his Hershey, PA show on the Miranda Lambert Platinum tour. And once we got past the small talk of how the weather was we dove right in to ask him about his partnership with Crown Royal‘s “Your Hero’s Name Here”…..

Justin told Gab: “It was a really easy decision to be a part of a program like that gives back to such deserving people. In fact anytime I can give back to our military or any hero and give them recognition they deserve, I will”  He went on, “Since being involved I’ve been able to see and meet real people with real stories and seeing their happiness actually makes me, at risk of sounding cliche, be a better man.”

That’s a pretty bold statement from a guy whose career stands a part from many due to what a genuinely good guy he is.

Justin has been involved with Crown Royal’s Heroes Project for the past three years, participating in the “Your Hero’s Name Here” program where the brand renames the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Brickyard 400 race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway after a deserving hero. In addition, in 2013 Justin Moore released a special song called “Heroes,” to encourage people to celebrate and recognize the everyday heroes. Justin has also been a part of the past three “Your Hero’s Name Here” winner reveal events where he was present for the unveil by performing at special ceremonies in the hometowns and announcing the winner live during the CMT Awards in the backstage Crown Royal lounge. Justin is currently encouraging adult consumers to nominate their heroes for the 2015 “Your Hero’s Name Here” program by visiting www.CrownRoyalHeroes.com.

It’s a more than worthy cause and we encourage you to nominate anyone you know that meets your hero status.

We also were able to discuss new music and can share good news that he is busy working on new music for his next album.  Justin explained, “The first couple years we were just really out paving payment to promote the album and music and it’s been nice to take a little time away to really put in even more into this next record. I am excited about it.”

We can’t wait to see which deserving hero gets to be recognized as part of “Your Hero’s Name Here” and are equally excited about new music from Justin!
