Big & Rich Support Military Appreciation Day

One of our favorite country duo will be the musical act for Military Appreciation Day at a PGA Event. All career military (active duty, reserve, retirees) and their dependents will be admitted free that day and will have access to the Birdies for the Brave Patriots Outpost near the 16th tee.

Big & Rich, whose hits include “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)” and “Comin’ to Your City,” will perform on the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse lawn after ceremonies that will include a flyover and the national anthem performed by up and coming country star Cali Rodi..

“We are honored that the PGA Tour has chosen us for this great opportunity to give back to the men and women who serve our country. We will be ready to Rock!” said Alpin in a statement.

These guys are just living proof of the country music lifestyle and giving back to not only the country music industry, but the the military world as well. We admire their love for our country as a whole and applaud them.

To celebrate their awesomeness, check out an oldie but goody…’Thats Why I Pray’:

Yeah, this joke is sort of like that.
