Zac Brown Band has dinner with group of fans before every show

Some artists are totally stuck up. Others are just down-to-earth, appreciative and awesome.

Zac Brown Band belong to the latter group. In a recent radio interview, Zac explained that they have dinner with a different group of fans before every show. "All the walls come down around people when you're around a meal," he says. "It just breaks down the barriers, and we wanna be known for doing things differently. And when you feed somebody a great meal, they remember it."

He continued, "We are one of the people, and when we get to sit and eat with our people and our fans, it solidifies that. It's just a reminder to them and ourselves that we're no different than they are, even though we're up on the stage and they're out there."

How badass is that? What's more, you know that that food is going to be amazing because Zac is a chef, and the whole band host the Southern Ground food and music festival every year. If you're a fan of the band, it seems like the quintessential fan experience, and even if you're not, it just sounds like a night to remember full of great eats and great conversation.

I'd sure love to sneak into one of these little soirees some time.

But now one brave soul has come forward to give the answer that no one wants to hear but a lot of radio people are maybe thinking, and his answer had Jennifer Nettles tweeting one very memorable response.
