The Band Perry rocking Congress today

The Band Perry

Lawmakers on Capitol Hill are getting a free The Band Perry concert today. Lucky ducks.

The Band Perry are welcoming back Congress by performing at the Capitol Visitor Center on behalf of the Recording Academy today. They're performing at noon (or performed at noon. Not sure of the time difference) and will then hang around to discuss issues important to modern musicians.

“The event is designed to reinforce the value of music, as Congress considers revisions to laws that affect music creators,” organizers said in an official press release.

To celebrate visiting the nation's capital, Neil Perry instagrammed a pic.
