I know this story has made its rounds and you're probably as tired of hearing about it as I am writing about it. But, and there is a but, there was a new turn in the American Sniper drama when Blake Shelton told TMZ that even though he hasn’t actually seen the movie, he has no problem speaking out against the film’s critics.
“I defend our military,” Blake told a paparazzo as he got into a limo outside 30 Rock, where he’ll host Saturday Night Live this weekend. “I don’t like people that talk some sh*t about our military, no matter what arm or leg it is.”
This of course comes hot off the heels of the tweet Blake sent out, more or less, calling out Seth Rogen for his tweet about the film that made it seem as though Rogen was comparing the film to movies that celebrate hate. (Rogen has since clarified that was not what he meant.)
“I want to see the movie real bad,” Blake told the photographer, between signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans.
Blake's schedule is certainly jam packed so can't say I blame him for not seeing the movie. But do you think he should've at least seen the movie before running his mouth?
