Rascal Flatts’ Gary LeVox: Bad singing leads to vocal cord surgery

Rascal Flatts' lead singer, Gary LeVox, chatted with Broadway on Monday shortly after it was revealed that the trio would be heading to Vegas next year for a nine-show residency at The Joint – and boy did the singer have a lot to say.

LeVox revealed that he's currently in Missouri hunting and was really, really happy for the break from the wind and the cold to do the interview. He also broke the news that Scotty McCreery will be opening for Rascal Flatts' tour next year.

Gary also talked about why he thought so many young singers have been undergoing vocal surgery lately, whether his two daughters will be following in his singing footsteps, and which song is currently driving him insane.
