Garth Brooks was the only country artist to perform at Sunday night's American Music Awards and he did it via satellite. Just makes me wonder if he knows that holograms are all the rage with country artists now?

Speaking of the AMAs, country artists who won awards for the evening included Carrie Underwood who won Favorite Country Female Artist, Luke Bryan who won Favorite Country Male Artist, Florida Georgia Line took home the award for Favorite Country Band, Duo or Group, and Brantley Gilbert who won Favorite Country Album for "Just As I Am."
Congrats to everybody who won … and to Garth for staying upright while performing.
