Little Big Town gets a grand invitation…

It was way back in 1999…May 21st to be exact that Little Big Town gave their first public performance at the Grand Ole Opry. Fast forward 15 years later and the Grammy winning quartet of Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook and Phillip Sweet are now going to be a part of the iconic organization!

As the group was finishing their set on the Opry stage this past week, none other than Reba McEntire joined them onstage for an spur of the moment collaboration on their hit "Pontoon," and she ended the performance by inviting the group to become Opry members.

 

And another cool moment was the stars that came out to congratulate them! Like mama to be Carrie Underwood:
