Little Big Town and Trisha Yearwood to perform at this week’s World Series

Well it's not the Super Bowl, but Trisha Yearwood and Little Big Town will be playing a HUGE sporting event soon – the World Series.

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Trisha along with Little Big Town, American Idol season 11 winner Phillip Phillips, and Carlos Santana will all step up to the mound and perform the national anthem on various days of the World Series starting this week. 

Trisha will kick things off before Game 1 today, October 21, in Kansas City, Missouri, with Little Big Town performing The Star-Spangled Banner in San Francisco on Friday before Game 3.

The games will air on Fox at 8 p.m. ET.
