Did Sam Smith play his Nashville fans?

Sam Smith is the absolutely freakishly talented vocalist from England that is responsible for the pop hit "Stay With Me".  And it was his amazing set of chops that got him invited to play at the Opry. Which is Pretty awesome if you ask me. Fans gathered from ALL over to witness him sing in person. Who could blame them? He's THAT good.

But to their dismay, Sam wasn't feeling well and needed his sleep soooo he wouldn't be able to meet any fans outside. Or so they thought. See…Sammy boy made one big mistake. He took to his twitter several hours after saying to announce that he was having a blast at a local Nashville karaoke bar.

Hey…maybe the advil kicked in?
