1. How did you get into the music industry?

I've been singing ever since I can remember. Growing up I was always learning to play different instruments and knew I would end up working in the industry somehow. Moving to Nashville was a huge part of getting started for me.

2. What artists did you listen to growing up?

I grew up listening to artists in all different genres but mostly those in gospel and country music. My mom's favorite singer was James Taylor so I really got into his music.

3. What artists are currently your favorite?

I love The Swon Brothers. I'm currently on tour with them playing keyboard and guitar, their music is amazing. I also like what Frankie Ballard is doing!

4. Do you have a favorite place to perform?

Definitely the Grand Ol Opry. It's sacred ground. I got the chance to play there for the first time earlier this year and there's nothing like it.

5. What is your favorite thing about country music?

It sounds cliche but it's the stories in the songs and the fans are the most loyal, devoted people on earth!

6. Beer or whiskey?

I prefer the hard stuff…like an ice cold Coca-Cola.

7. If your life was a movie, what would the title be?

Field Of Dreams…and not just because it stars my long lost uncle Kevin.

8. Favorite hang out spot in Nashville?

My house! I'm on the road so much that I love just hanging out at home when I get time off. PM is one of my favorite late night hang outs though. Also, Whiskey Jam every Monday night at Winner's hosted by my buddies Ward Guenther and Josh Hoge.

9. What instruments do you play?

Mainly keyboard and guitar. I also play bass, drums, banjo, mandolin, harmonica and a few others. I'm always learning new instruments. I'm currently trying to conquer the sax and pedal steel.

10. Where do you see yourself in five years?

I hope to still be playing for and collaborating with great artists and bands, as well as writing and performing more of my own music.
