So, by now you're probably at least a little bit familiar with Maddie & Tae, but now you can get to know a little more about their background. And by background I mean their hometown because they both share some pretty cool connections. Tae Dye actually grew up in Ada, Oklahoma….which is also the hometown for Mr. Shelton. And we know the pride Blake has for the town…even putting a picture of the water tower on his recent album.
Tae's other half, Maddie Marlow, grew up in Sugar Land, TX, and as cool as it would be to have a connection to the actual band, Sugarland…she doesn't. Haha, but hey…with people like Maddie and Tara Lipinski from the town…it's just a matter of town because it's on the map!
