Florida Georgia Line and 90’s country influence in same sentence?

The most bro country of the bro country could arguably be Florida Georgia Line. Their hip hop and rock influence is heard in almost every single song they've put out. BUT…what they personally listen to might actually surprise you. In fact, CMT.com reports Tyler just downloaded John Anderson's 1993 hit "Money in the Bank" on his iPhone. And BK says that they just love all that timeless stuff like  "Brooks & Dunn, Garth Brooks, Blackhawk, Alabama." To them that is country music. Newsflash…that's country music to everyone.

But perhaps the most interesting bit of information is that FGL will be incorporating all of those sounds into their new album coming out later this year. So either they sold out with their other sound or the future of country music is finally getting its foundation back.
