Dwight Yoakam releases CCR hit as new single

Dwight Yoakam new single

Everything old is new again.

Following in the footsteps of Justin Moore with his current single being a remake of Motley Crue's Home Sweet Home and Martina McBride's entire new CD "Everlasting" being remakes of classics, Dwight Yoakam has jumped on the remake bandwagon and has released a cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival's Who'll Stop The Rain as his new single. Fans can purchase it on iTunes now.

The track will be included on Dwight's new album to be released later this year.

Yoakam also made his first appearance last night on CBS' "Under the Dome." Dwight plays barbershop owner Lyle Chumley. You can watch the full episode here.

In other exciting news, Yoakam will hit the road as a special guest on the North American leg of Eric Church's "The Outsiders Would Tour," which kicks off on September 11th in Bossier City, Louisiana, and crisscrosses the US and Canada through December, with 32 arena dates listed here.
