Is Taylor Swift abandoning country music altogether now?

She's been quickly moving away from the genre that made her a superstar, but is Taylor Swift finally exiting country music altogether?

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Taylor Swift's boss, Scott Borchetta, said that Taylor worked with a famous pop producer "on most of" her next album. The producer, Max Martin, produced the crossover hits from her "Red" album, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," I Knew You Were Trouble," and "22."

So where does that leave her country fans? Well it sounds like they will probably have to buy the album because Borchetta isn't expecting country radio to play the music.

“Taylor fans are going to love it. Will country stations play a complete pop song just because it’s her? No. But when she comes to town, her friends at country radio will come and see her,” he told the magazine.

I don't know. All the songs from "Red" were about as far from country music as you could get and country radio still played them, so who knows?
