Miranda Lambert helps Ladies’ Home Journal end 131 year run

Wow! The Ladies’ Home Journal has been around since 1883 and now the magazine is ending its 131 year run with none other than Miranda Lambert on the cover. 

According to the NY Post, the magazine announced the decision to end its monthly issues with a recent editor's letter from Editor-in-Chief Sally Lee.

If you're a fan of the the magazine, however, never fear because despite the fact that they will be ending their monthly issue, they do plan on still releasing specials on a quarterly basis. 

And just in case you're curious who was their first cover model, it was First Lady Ida McKinley, wife of President William McKinley, in 1898.
