Summer may have just barely begun, but that doesn't mean fans can't start thinking ahead to cool fall nights and football season.
And Carrie Underwood.
The NFL tweeted a photo yesterday of Carrie recording the new opener for Sunday Night Football. This will be the second year in a row the singer has performed the iconic “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night" theme song.
“Waiting all day…all week…all off season for Sunday Night w/ @carrieunderwood #SNFopen #SNF,” the photo's caption read.
Sunday Night Football will premiere this year on NBC September 7 when the Indianapolis Colts play the Denver Broncos.
