Brad Paisley shows why you should never make a bet with a rapper

Brad Paisley seems to have learned the hard way that rappers have some very expensive taste.

“Don’t make bets with rappers … they’re very expensive,” Paisley warns in a video posted to Facebook over the weekend.

Then the video pans to a fancy looking bottle of booze.

That’s when Brad’s fellow “Rising Star” judge, rapper Ludacris, pops up holding the bottle’s fancy box and says, “Man, you better not’ve poored Hennessy in this thing.”

I did a little googling and it turns out the bottle shown in the video is Remy Martin Cognac Louis XIII. According to Wikipedia, a 750 ml bottle of Louis XIII may be priced as high as $44,000, although the average price range is $2,100 – $3,100.

That is definitely an expensive lesson Brad learned.

There’s no word on what the bet was about, but I hope it was at least a good one.

Check out the funny video below.
