From July 24 through July 27 of each year, San Diego is packed from wall to wall and back with the freaks, geeks, and lovers of the comic book world and underground. It is a hugely entertaining event, and Scion wants to help you get there!
As a show to the world of how much people love their Scion cars, the automaker is putting on a social media only contest. Entrants will upload videos, slo-mo videos, or still images to their Twitter and/or Instagram accounts. Using the hashtag #EPICFRS and submitting your entry before midnight on June 15 will put you in the running for a fun-filled weekend adventure to San Diego during the city’s most popular and beloved time of year.
Not unlike the cars themselves, video and still image submissions are expected to be highly imaginative, and Scion really wants to see the owners of their cars strive to show everyone across Twitter and Instagram how much fun they have had in their Scion vehicle. Videos can be filled with comedy, adventure, action, or any other genre—the key to winning will be capturing and captivating the eye of those who will make decisions about the final cuts.
The Scion brand has come to be known for their affordability without cutting any corners on bells, whistles, or beautiful design. Your social media image or video should be made with this in mind—try to capture the essence of your personal Scion experience along with the greatness this brand has brought to your life.
There will be four contest winners, but only one magic set of tickets will lead down the road to sunny San Diego.
