I have a love/hate relationship with BuzzFeed. I love it because it is way too entertaining and can keep me occupied for hours and I hate it because it is way too entertaining and can keep me occupied for hours.
Yesterday, however, my love of BuzzFeed became useful when I came across a fun and surprising article on the site.
As they tend to do, the time-wasting site had one of their quizzes. This one was which Dolly Parton song are you? I sighed, rolled my eyes, looked at it with disdain, and then promptly finished the quiz to figure out which Dolly Parton song I am.
I'm apparently Islands In The Stream.
Well right before leaving the quiz I happened to glance at the top and read the description. It said: When I write songs, I tell stories about things that have happened in my life or how I’m feeling at the time. Let’s find out which one is a perfect reflection of you.
And guess who the contributing writer was. Yep, none other than Dolly herself.
I guess if anyone is going to know which Dolly Parton song you are it would be Dolly herself. So from now on you can just call me Ms. Islands In The Stream.
And just in case you're thinking they probably faked the quiz, Dolly mentioned it on her Twitter also.
I had a great time working with @Buzzfeed on a "Which Dolly Parton Song Are You?" quiz! http://t.co/uEiGan2euf
