Brad Paisley was cutting it close there for a while with his tour name. Problem was he didn't have a name picked out and his tour starts tomorrow, May 16. Well crisis averted because today he announced that his tour finally has a moniker.
Paisley's 2014 tour is now officially called the Country Nation World Tour presented by KRAFT Cheese and kicks off in Philadelphia, PA on May 16.
Yes, cheese, which kinda makes me giggle like a fool.
Brad's Country Nation World Tour will travel to over 40 cities in the United States and Canada during the summer months and will have special guests Randy Houser, Charlie Worsham, Leah Turner and Dee Jay Silver along the way.
Fans can watch humorous Brad and Kraft co-created videos that show what he would do “For the Love of Cheese” at www.fortheloveofcheese.com. There, they can enter the national sweepstakes for a chance to win a lifetime supply of cheese and a VIP Brad Paisley concert experience, find Paisley’s cheesy recipe favorites, and more.
Paisley is also partnering with Tickets-for-Charity to offer fans some of the best seats in the house to benefit St. Jude Target House. Tickets are available exclusively at www.ticketsforcharity.com.
As for Brad's new album, he finally revealed the official name to Billboard - Moonshine In The Trunk.
So what can fans expect from Moonshine In The Trunk? Country with a bit of electronic dance music and dubstep.
Yes, dubstep.
"When you hear a banjo through stutter edit, it's the coolest thing you ever heard," Paisley said. "I have a song that's a basic love song, it's got a great groove, and I cut this guitar part that gets distorted when I turn the nob up. I would say to Luke, 'Oh, that should've been done 20 years ago, but they couldn't.' The rulebook's gone, or was there ever one? They try, but I don't play by it."
Interesting.
