True Or False? Movies Can Make Artists a Lot of Money

According to the website Celebrity Net Worth, there are three ways to maximize your monetary benefits from one single song.

"If you're interested in making a lot of money off songwriting, remember these three tricks:

1) Write a Christmas song.

2) Write a timeless love song.

3) Get your song featured in a movie."

The now defunct duo Bomshel's song "Power of One" was featured in 2007's "Evan Almighty." They didn't write it, just performed it.

We recently had the chance to ask Kristy Osmunson, who was half of Bomshel, and is now half of American Young, just how much she has made from the track being featured in the motion picture.  Here's what she said.
